Only agregated data will leave the servers processing the info. No user data hits a PC or laptop.
Exactly...we had laptops stolen from government offices back in Canada. I received a letter: sorry, your private information may have been compromised, nothing we can do about it, just thought we'd let you know. If you have an issue, complain to Alberta Health Care.

I don't see the need for the level of personal info they are asking for on this census. And does no one find it irritating that you apparently don't have the choice to refuse to answer questions, don't have the right to give false information...like this is the Spanish Inquisition?

As for it not being on any computer linked to the net... I'm connected to the net when I'm putting it all in so it must be all going onto a computer connected to the net.

I thought you were all being a bit silly until I got my form today. It is definitely more intrusive than 5 years ago. I am not sure they need to know how much my mortgage payments are!
