census,2011

I don't think you'll be the only one. Hubby said most of the guys in camp are asking their wives to fill in the census as if they were home that night. The last thing they want to do after a 12 hour shift is to come back to camp and fiddle around with the census form for an hour. So, I think the results as to how many workers are actually in camp on August 9th is going to be way off.

Son managed to log on to the cencus site earlier but it just hung on the first log-in page.
Can't even get onto the server now and no-one is answering the phone. There's probably a queue a mile long.
Gonna be interesting if it's like this over the next couple of evenings.

Did it in 10 mins last night.
Nice thought Ivan but they obviously underestimated what grunt would be needed.

I think it took about half an hour the other night but that was with three people's work info needing to be put in and I didn't have the addresses etc to hand.

I rang the call centre for a privacy envelope as the collector just dumped the stuff, despite us being home.
The operator had a really strong accent and broken english, she really couldnt understand my ( english ) accent. . Took me about 10 mins to get the privacy envelope which I hope gets here because she simply no matter how many times I spelt it, her strong accent would repeat it as something else
.
I gave up in the end hopefully it will arrive by the postcode.

Geordie? Duck for cover as chips and gravy munchers attack.
