Funny you should say that, one beach we still haven't been to & was only saying to hubby the other day we must go there.

I'm sure Renth can answer that one though.

I just recall little Miss Skeggs getting blotto there on the one time I watched the program.

I spent a few months in sydney and perth beaches are in my opinion much nicer, less crowded, cleaner although they don't really have may with facilities around them. grat beaches for me: Mullaloo, city beach, cottelsoe, trigg, yanchep. Hilary's is ok for little kids or peolpe that don't like the wind and it is surrounded by the harbour with shops cafes etc.. The best i have visited by far was in Albany (south west oz) goode beach was the whitest sand I had ever seen. Sure there are lots more but haven't visited them yet.

Oh you can just pretend you didn't know about it and looked shocked !!!

Ps you mean nudist's to the left of the steps cus we've been to Maslins "normal beach" just last week and there was a woman with her bikini bottoms half way over her bum perhaps she couldn't make up her mind too whether it was the nudist beach or not.

Mission Beach is beautiful. We even saw a Cassowary nearby.

Unfortunately it is plagued by 'Stingers' in the summer like all Northern Beaches. There is also the chance of the odd Croc.

BP

Only paddled in the water at Rosebud the other day but I would have said that it was warm enough to swim without a wetsuit.

Question is, where abouts in Melbourne is the triathlon?

I think it is St Kilda in March. Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) is 21 - 22 in April which is a nice temp. The ocean today was 19 at Bondi.
