Aussie drivers

How about lasers being shone into eyes and shots fired on a freeway?
And this was just last night on part of the horror that is the Pacific Motorway

We were probably 30 minutes behind this madness.
Phil Down Under And Up His Arse doesn't cover this kind of thing ...

Say what you like about Aussie drivers: yes, many are less courteous than the Brits, but at least we use our indicators.
In the UK it was always, 'Hmm, is that guy going to... nah, he doesn't have his indicator - OH HELL, HE'S JUST SWUNG RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, THANKS FOR NOTHING MORON!'
Australians also park in the direction of traffic flow (pro tip!) and we understand the significance of those little white lines on the carpark tarmac.
Unlike... well... allow me to demonstrate. Here's a classic example in the Devonshire town of Beer. So good, I had to take a photo:

Nice parking mate!
Some kind soul assumed he was having trouble with his handbrake, and chocked the tyres with a couple of rocks:

Adelaide must be home to all the indicating drivers is the only conclusion I can draw because it ain't happening here.
And if there is some kind of signal that a change of direction may occur sometime during the next 60 seconds it is usually following the display of brake lights, not before.

Very unwise to believe indicators - all it means is that the bulb is working.

We order online here in Adelaide, too.

Very true ... and don't get me started on badly adjusted headlights, that'll be the benefits of no yearly roadworthy test then ... out in the sticks surrounded by clapped out 4wd's does not happy nighttime motoring make.

They certainly don't signal around Brisbane, if they do as you say it is after they have turned.
As for parking they have no idea, the best ones are outside the school at pick up time when the (usually) mums have to park their huge 4x4s in 2 spaces so of course we end up with half the number of available spaces.

Online grocery shopping - We used Tesco - did you tick the box that said 'allow substitutions' ? We got fed up in the end - How is a pack of 6 white rolls a substitute for a French stick? Thank god the condoms were in stock.

Out of the 4 states I've driven in (Vic, NSW, Qld, Tas) there are definite differences in the driving. The scariest has to be Qld, especially on motorways! Vic is not far behind, and I hate driving here in Melbourne every day.
The best drivers I found were in Tassie, maybe not quite so much once they get into the country, but in town the drivers tend to be courteous. For example, one time in Hobart I got stuck behind a bus that was stopping, and the taxi driver in the other lane slowed down and was letting me change lane and go in front of him so I could pass the bus! Would never expect that here, especially from a taxi driver. There were other examples I experienced there as well.
