to be honest killielass i have no regrets about coming, i would have been miserable if i had not done it, always thinking about what we had missed out on, i have made my bed and i well sleep in it and enjoy it, and i am certainly getting better at being in oz, but in my heart of hearts i wish i had not left killie, life here is expensive, we sold a lovely wee hoose in killie, and will never be able to afford to buy here, the houses are too expensive and the interest rate to high, the health care system is expensive and not a patch on xhoose, dental care better but astronmical, i have spoken to a few peeps who fly to other contries nearby to have dental treatment as there is no way they can afford it here, and i would say the education system in scotland (certainly in killie), much better.
I worry so much about our financial future here, if we stay here i will have to work till am around 100
I miss the sense of humour so much and i miss the fact everybody spoke with the same accent 'yi ken', i miss me work ,me mates and the nights out, i miss the pubs, i miss macks bar!! and i miss the Dean Park, so cheer yirself up, have a pint in macks and say hi to wee dougie and then go for a walk round the dean park

Every country has negatives and if you have taken the trouble to emigrate then you should just stop moaning about the negatives and think about the positives - or go back home!!!!!!

There are some of us that really want to be there but have had their visas put on hold because the limit has been reached, just as they were about to pay their big chunk of money to the Australian Government - how bad is that!!!! i want to be there now not wait another 6 months to be granted my visa that would have been granted this month.
