We Love WA.......

My goodness we didnt expect that.......When i say we Love WA, I mean we absolutely Love WA :thumbsup:

We have been fortunate in our lives to travel to many places across the world including reccies to Brissie and Adelaide but Perth and the surrounding areas were just so perfect for us our current lifestyle and what we would like to be doing in the remaining years of our lives........

We went to Validate but not certain about anything but and here is the but we are more certain now about moving than at anytime during this whole drawn out process:eek:

There were jobs (unheard of in the UK at present) there was affordable housing and yes even decent schools as well as the beautiful surroundings and beaches as far up as we travelled (Yanchep to Mandura). We had some excellent advice from many people but in particular Rob and Elaine (Ozzy7) in secret harbour, thanks so much to you for your hospitality to us 2 total strangers:)

So all in all without boring you all we spent a fab week opening bank accounts to looking at Properties to eating ice cream in the winter sun at Scarboro Beach......an absolute pleasure

Very sad to leave we felt that attached.....most unlike us to become emotional but thats how we felt:eek:

12 months and counting the house is being made over with new Deck n turf then it will hit the market in Aug/Sept:fingerscrossed:

Lisa we managed to miss the storm up 'North' lol but it was windy but not as bad as you guys in the deep south:p

AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME Back soon and guess what Britian....We arent coming back;)

i'm soooo glad you had a great time and absolutely love perth....it is a fantastic place.
i know your visa experience was a little stressful to say the least, but they say things happen for a reason hey, and from what you say your happy for your new life to be in perth :thumbup:
just imagine what its like in spring and summer....even better!!!!!!! even winters not too bad, just the odd storm to contend with, but inbetween you get some beautiful warm sunny days, even in the deep south ;)....its a hard life, lol!!!!

keep us updated on how things are going for you.....we're all following your story with interest :)

How is everyone else getting on?

We are ok here in Cairns but OH working in Townsville so we don't see that much of him. Unemployment quite bad in Cairns so not sure how soon there may be something up here for him:( Otherwise, my job is going well & both boys happpy & settled:thumbsup:

Hi All,OMG.....House sold....not even on the market a random note through the door that someone wanted to buy it if it was for sale and the rest is history chain sale should be complete in 4 weeks gulp!

Plan to rent and bank a fair amount from the sale and move in Dec 2010. Thanks for the Karma it so worked lol:thumbsup::eek::eek::eek: :beer:
