So what do you consider is the best deal for broadband here in NSW? My husband has been investigating it all and trying to compare all the deals and i have a feeling it giving him a headache!! Until he makes his mind up i'm stuck on dial up

I had broadband for a while with 10Mb (metro) I got one cd in less than 2 minutes

It depends on what you do with the internet. I download movies and find 512k a bit slow (average 700mb mpg takes average 6hrs).
Lots of p2p clients are big system and bandwidth hoggers so with 512k its sometimes hard to even bring up a web browser if people are uploading from you.
