Just got off the phone to our agent in the UK who's dealing with our application. she said she will advise when to get the meds etc done but we will be front loading them. She explained not to do it...

Hi Tracie. So you can be proactive and get Meds/Police checks done yourself and forward them on instead of waiting to be told to do them? I presume this speeds up the processing time.

Need to find our leaving cert results and birth certs and back to the solicitor again to get the photocopies certified :rolleyes:

koonyungdi we submitted our TRA stuff in June but had to resubmit further certified papers so that delayed us. Took about 6-8 weeks once we submitted all...

Thanks priscilia. My wife is the main applicant as she is a software developer. Her name is on the skilled demand list but not the MODL list afaik.

We just got an email this morning with a positive skills assessment result :beer:

So thats 60 points in the bag. Hope to have the visa application ready in a week or so. How long does it take...

Were still going through the TRA assessment. Was really annoyed at the agency....
