Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

First off, none of the comments on this thread can in any way be considered reinforcing this apparent study. I'm not going to start moderating harmless comments that are not abusive or aggressive. ...

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

As far as I'm aware, with 50+ years experience, I get on with all nationalities I've met and not faced any abuse. I don't, however, get on with dickheads.

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

Wow  Trying to patronise on your first day on BE. That could be some sort of record. New members are always very welcome but most of us do try and settle down and see how things work before...

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

Didn't realise RB had a beach. All I've seen are McMansions on tiny blocks with a boat ramp at the end of an inch of grass.

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

I often go and sit on the beach just to ponder and cogitate. Don't even mind doing it in drizzle. Wouldn't call it a lifestyle though.

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

Out of interest, presumably you were in the CBD, if you were in the same area in Sydney, how late could you walk into a restaurant and order?

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

From 2005(ish) to about 2009(ish) all the 'unhappy with their time currently or previously in Australia' resided in Perth (or appeared to). You have to ask 'them' why because the rest of us who...

Re: Australia is too bloody far away....from everything

You're mixing with the wrong people. Everyone I know in the UK are happy and accept that shit happens but get on with their own lives. Much the same as here. The papers here cover the same shit,...
