It is crazy your right though this is the kind thing the law was meant to stop but obviously it is still going on. They really need to amend it at least for us Brits who were born there.

No I need it to support my husband if I dont earn that amount or have 60 grand in savings he cannot apply for his visa because he is American and not an EU citizen.

Thanks Im probably going to go home in the Summer and hopefully get a job back in my old work place while my hubby stays here and saves til he can apply for his visa.

LOL :) I was just home and thought most things in Tesco were much cheaper than anything in Walmart. Especially fruit and veggies a whole bag of kiwi fruits for a pound bargain :) You can definitely...

I sat and just emailed my MPs back home where my mother lives ( and I will be too) one of them must be able to suggest something.

Yes that is what the lawyer told me too it was meant to stop the influx of fake marriages from India but they find ways around it. It is very annoying especially since its MY home. Yet if my husband...

I agree with you on that hope Labour get rid of it of they do get it. I did speak to a solicitor in Scotland and she did say this particular law does get reviewed and or changed every 2 years anyway...

Yup I can't take my husband home to my own country without financial restraint yet many from other countries can walk right in. Makes me so mad!

We sold our house and took a loss on it just to get it out from under our feet. They are not selling for their worth where we are. I guess me going back is the only option.
