Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

It seems all Italian adolescent males are into Queen. Must be the opera thing. I forgot about Johnny Cash. He's great. I can't stand Bob Dylan's music (or more to the point, his voice) but I saw...

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Me too, English all the way. I watched the Live Aid dvd recently and thought that the worst of the English lot (Sade, Brian Ferry etc) was miles better than the best of of the Yank lot. Can't stand...

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

D.S.O.T.M. best album ever made. Floyd best band who ever existed. (Floyd took their name from two old bluesmen: Pink ANDERSON and Floyd COUNCIL). Generally though my tastes are much nearer Indie's,...

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

I never saw the Roses live, but their first album is a masterpiece. I love The Smiths and think Marr was one of best guitarists ever. And Hooky was in not one but TWO of the greatest bands ever....

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Re: Cinema, Music, Literature - your recommendations?

Yeah, i read The italians. Intersting. There's a bit in it where he praises French food, saying that while Italian food is good in its simplicity, French food is an art. I've yet to find an Italian...
