Had a short ride today, forth ride this of the season. Sun and 12c to 15c this week. Last nights ride was a little fresh, OH had her heated vest on.

Maybe run the 50 until it is no use any more, then upgrade? The cost is an investment in the job. You may get a promotion and more money to buy a new scooter. You never know. Glad you have a job you...

You have insurance on the 50?

If buying another one, I would seriously consider the 150. A MC rider course is worth doing, the cost is around $800.

I am paying something like $2400 a year with $5m liability, comp and collision (part ICBC, part private). Discount for gang membership and discount as an instructor.

I had to do a test, so kept both licenses. A buddy recently exchanged his UK MC license to a BC license, 20 odd years after he arrived in Canada, no issues, license wise anyway.

Not necessarily. If you have a transcript of your UK license, send that in too. My class 6 did not transfer with my class 5. A whole other saga! My discounts with our insurer ICBC are the same for...

Don't think my back, shoulders or butt would take that riding position anymore!

Have you ridden before? If not, or a longtime ago, strongly suggest doing a course.
