Thanks Aviator. Nice hobby, but not a career for me. My brother in law ran a vehicle repair business for a long time and is an excellent painter. He had to give it up in his late 30's as his wrists and fingers were suffering so badly from the endless sanding.

I was out practising some wheelies yesterday. Need to buy gloves though.

If you click on it three or four times it eventually works and shows a nutter on public roads risking lives but doing awesome wheelies, I don't wheelie

What kind of crazy person wants problematic rare old bikes where parts are hard to come by? Tsk

350 is STILL in the shop awaiting on brake pads (I think they forgot about it seeing as they knew I had the 500) Hoping I'll get her back before the snow so I can take her on a decent ride.

500, well she has developed a crack in the nose cowl (last ride out it got worse) - old plastics I guess and the fuel tank is leaking on the seam - a new development that happened today, came back with petrol all over the left side under my leg. So she is going to have to have a bit of a fix up before we go out again. There is a tank on EBAY for just under $800 in Sherwood Park of all places but it's rusty on the inside so I think we will try and fix the one we have 1st.

Still super happy with the pair though

Wow, thank you, I think we are going to JB? Weld the seam, but this would be a double fix, I'll show the OH and get something sorted Thank you.

Not a Sunday, it was a Saturday. I cycled Bristol to Chepstow for a Ploughman's and a pint and then back home.

Upto 20cms forecast overnight boo! 350 is still awaiting backorder parts for the brakes, 500, well the chap that sold me the bike is going to repair my tank, just got to pop it in for him, looks like we've got a few months now to get that job jobbed!

Enjoy the lovely weather.

Itching to get back on the road before the weather craps out, hopefully the new wheels arrive in the next day or so.
