Tonight we is 'avin le 'omemade French oignon soupe.

Although, aside from the strong whiff of eau de l'oignon emanating for at least 1 kilometer from our house, there is very little to suggest that there is anything French about it. This will be accompanied by lashings of cheese on toast.

That sounds very healthy. I do like brown rice.

I've not seen frozen parsnips, though I haven't had a thorough search admittedly.

Something thrown together as I was out all day & wasn't prepared.

Lamb chops defrosted out of the freezer with a carbonara type pasta and salad from the vege garden.

Aujourd'hui j'ai mangé des asperges au beurre, avec des côtelettes d'agneau avec sauce à la menthe, petits pois et pommes de terre lyonnaise.

Asparagus with butter

Lamb Chops

Mint Sauce

Peas

Spuds with spring onion.

Sounds better in French somehow.

Sounds pretty scrummy in English too.

Our 'dinner' (BBQ at friends) was a bit random to say the least and seemed to mostly consist of sugary things and toxic coloured cup cakes.

Did sound scrummy didn't it. I love asparagus.
All over to Sherlocks then
Was it NZ or welsh lamb?

Know what you mean about the weird coloured cup cakes. What's that all about at the moment. Don't eat cake anyway so it's beyond me.

Last night was mega monster homemade cornish pasties, a third of which went to the hens this morning. New pots and a tin of Oak brand beans.
