Nah, never quite the same when it comes from the freezer.

Today I am doing macaroni cheese.

Nothing - I'm going out

But yesterday I did a Fish Moolie with red snapper fillet and, though I say so myself, it was rather nice.

Interesting word Moolie:

THE BALLAD OF THE WOGGLER'S MOOLY - to the tune of Clementine
by Ramblin' Syd (Kenneth Williams)

Joe, he was a young cordwangler,
Munging greebles he did go,
And he loved a bogler's daughter
By the name of Chiswick Flo.

Vain she was and like a grusset
Though her gander parts were fine,
But she sneered at his cordwangle
As it hung upon the line.

So he stole a woggler's mooly
For to make a wedding ring,
But the Bow Street Runners caught him
And the judge said "He will swing."

Oh, they hung him by the postern,
Nailed his mooly to the fence
For to warn all young cordwanglers
That it was a grave offence.

There's a moral to this story,
Though your cordwangle be poor,
Keep your hands off other's moolies,
For it is against the law.

Ah keep taking the tablets

This moolie was apparently Malaysian according to my cookbook. Mind you never seen a Moolie on any menu here. It was something like a curry but not..... ginger, coconut, lemongrass, chillies, turmeric....that kinda thing.

Turkey

I found some turkey drumsticks in the supermarket here. Turkey tends to be a bit iffy in the Tropics so thought I'd pot roast them, which I did yesterday. Tore off all the meat this morning... and sampled a little bit mmm quite nice. Think I shall saute it with some spices tonight and some spuds and greens. A tropical festive fry up

Found boxes of Cadbury's chocolate fingers in our local Countdown this afternoon. Bought one & just scoffed the whole box without thinking about it .
As OH is at his work's Xmas party tonight, that's my dinner sorted
