lets face the reality. are you really going to spend $200 on windows xp when you can download it for free. theres no point in buying it. heaps of people use downloaded windows. oh and by the way, i use pirated office 2003 and adobe photoshop as well.

cheers

l bought 3 emachines [900mhz, 1ghz, 2ghz] in my lifetime and never had a problem with any. They are all still running perfectly fine. The oldest one lve had for 4yrs now. lt is a 900mhz, 128sdram, 20gb hd, windows xp system. Most people switch computers in 4yrs anyway, so if a computer lasts for 4yrs w/no problems, it is good.

lm not telling anyone to pirate software. l just happen to be someone that uses pirated software, that's all. lf you want to bury your head in the sand and believe that it's wrong to use pirated software and that people don't use it, then be my guest.

don't really care if you use it at all, but advertising the fact that you do is stupid.

On Tuesday of next week Apple is expected to announce their cheapest ever Mac - a sub-$500 iMac that will come without a monitor but with a keyboard and a full suite of office software applications, games etc.

That's going to be a tough computer to beat when it comes to having a real trouble-free, top quality machine.
If Macs are so great how come they have 3% of the market? They have existed just about as long as the PC but still cannot make headway in the non-specialised market. They are optimised to provide best performance figures for Photoshop/Pagemaker/Quark. If you play games you can expect to wait a long time before the Mac version comes out, if it ever does.

Here in Southwest Florida the only store that stocks them is our recently opened CompUSA. Apart from that store it is impossible to find a Mac technician. The Mac specialist in Naples closed down ages ago due to lack of business.

Taking in all factors, price, reliability, reputation, get a Dell. If you are a member of COSTCO buy whatever they sell. They have a no quibble return policy which is the best in the country.

No, it's not that, it's just stupid to admt in a public forum any illegal activities...anyway, the troll has been banned.
