Hey mate have you tried Gritty McDuffs in Portland, I have been told they do a few good brews.

Not in Maine, but there is Hannafords that sell it...Ocean State is a dodgy store with a lot of random shite, but they usually have cheap Brit food, the one in Belfast ME is actually pretty good and so is the Big Lots in Windham. Reny's is another good store for random stuff on the cheap, the one in Madison is cute, though Camden and Belfast have really nice stores and there's a few other stores around the state.

typical so not ruffle costomers per se. WO started in Boulder and a few people were miffed over the merger..(go figure). WF - buyout the competition to get rid off them... problem solved. I go there just for the 365 veggie chips.

Check beeradvocate.com for listings - there are a fair few entries for beer shops that have a good selection scattered throughout Maine.
There's a good one that I've used in Portland on the waterfront next to the Hilton Garden Inn. If in Portland the Shipyard brewery has a good shop and free tours and tastings too.

btw, if anyone has an uncontrollable craving for HP curry sauce, Heinz 57 steak sauce tastes almost exactly the same.
