They are all street corner prostitutes who will sell themselves to whomever has the bigger coin.
Perhaps they are all corrupt - but I cannot vote for any member of a party whose mission it is to:
(1) take away a womans right to choose
(2) support a senseless war
(3) continue to deny gays the right to marry
(4) allow the incorporation of religion into government
(5) initiate the Patriot Act
The list goes on but for me these are the most important ones.
It would take a very vile Democrat to make me cross party lines. For me to vote for any individual that would knowingly attach themselves to the Republican party flies in the face of everything I believe and care about.

Re: Voting Today
I voted Dems down the line, and there was nothing silly about it. We haven't had a Dem for district since 1987 when Bob Edgar quit and the machine got Weldon in. On the ballot were Weldon, Santorum, and a bunch of state guys who voted themselves a raise in the middle of the night. and then took it early as "unvouchered expenses".
It it time to throw the bums out.
Incidentally, Bob Edgar is the kind of churchman even I can applaud:

"Dr. Edgar took office January 1, 2000, at a time of great opportunity, as the 50-year-old Council began to reshape its life and mission. Under his leadership, the Council is focusing its energies on major initiatives in the areas of overcoming poverty, protecting the environment, fostering interfaith understanding, and building international peace."

Agree with you Les. I'm not a registered republican. Never have been and never will be. While there are some issues I do agree with there are many I don't. Just as there are some issues I agree with on the democrate side and some I don't. On the issue of women's rights, it really doesn't matter what or who is in Congress or the White House. All you need is a Supreme Court vote and that will squash any women's right, i.e. abortion without you having a damn say in the matter. The Justices are appointed by the President and unless one is near dying, it is hard to tell when that vacancy is going to come up.
When people voted for Bush they not only voted in Daddy again but there was really no choices available for the position of presidency. You had an idiot and an idiot. It was a no-win situation.
