Having a wee boom around here right now because of a new ski resort being built in the town. All the locals are buying every spare square foot of land hoping the price just keeps rising. Even buying land that the EPA has determined as "Forever wild" (cannot ever be built on) in the hope that that particular rule will be dropped and they can cash in.
