Re: UK Foods in the US Share your finds!
I have never in all my days seen that available in the US.
But I thought you guys are always beating us up about 'fresh' food. Watch it, CAd, or they won't let you in the club.

So just got back from the new "Fresh and Easy" Holy Mackerel its darn expensive, I was under the impression they were a lower end store (Yes I know Tescos) but apart from bread and some frozen veg and Ice cream, way way pricey, I forgot to even look for the Bisto I was so pissed at the prices.
Upside "Big Lots" is next door so the $1.50 Jacobs crackers got a big dent on the shelf.

Yeah, I've gotten those before.
They aren't bad, tomato based and cheaper than Heinz UK, but they are sweeter I thought. Not quite the same, but good enough for beans on toast

It's a long time since I posted but thought I would share this with anyone in the Boston area.
This is a very, very small selection of British/Irish goodies at Kiki's Kwik Mart in Brighton, Boston. I have been to many places that sell British stuff over the years but I was amazed at the range of stuff they have at this little convenience store. My local store is Wegmans so I can get a pretty decent amount of stuff but today I was literally like a kid in a candy store. This picture is a small sample of the stuff I bought today, I bought lots of easter eggs - maltesers, buttons, smarties etc. I spent just short of $100.00 but I could have easily spent 4 times that if my husband hadn't stopped my frenzy.
They had lots of frozen stuff but I had a long ride home and was worried about it thawing.

And in Wholefoods they have Parmalat - a long life skimmed milk - I normally get a couple of boxes in the winter in case we get snowed in. Also, I thought I was in heaven today - found a sweet ( or should that be candy? ) shop in Tysons today selling English chocolate - however I nearly fainted when he charged me $3 for a crunchie and $1.95 for a small packet of buttons!
