Don't get too excited. I obviously had to do intensive research and it would appear that it's only topless, despite being called "nude". And one has to consider that the average clientele may not be exactly Playboy quality or whatever the male equivalent is.

We were in Vegas for our 15th Anniversary in June . We stayed in a corner suite at the Aria - the room was fully automated, curtains, lights, music, even the loo washed and dried your bum .

We saw Celine Dion on our actual anniversary - she was absolutely fantastic and we we saw 'O' at the Bellagio which was amazing. We got cheap tickets to Defending the Caveman at Harrah's - it was OK but I am glad we didn't spend much on tickets.

We spent a grand total of $60 at the casino's - just seemed like an incredible waste of money considering all the places I wanted to eat - heehee! Sensi at Bellagio was gorgeous and we got the most beautiful complimentary dessert as it was our anniversary, Julian Serrano at the Aria was amazing and the Aria Breakfast Parfait was the best thing I have ever eaten for breakfast - even better than a black pudding and fried egg bap!

We did a day trip in the car to the top of Mount Charleston (they have ski-ing up there) and it was almost 30° cooler at the top.

Hope you have a great trip.

Also as my recent waltz through the Wynn showed me, it doesn't take much for them to close it down and put up signs that essentially say "we have a big paying conference staying and they are such prudes that they demanded we close the topless pool while their conference was happening".

A place we stayed at which is right in the middle of the main drag is Aria. Stunning, and centre to everything fun to do. http://www.arialasvegas.com/hotel/

I'm going to sound naive now, but what else is Nevada good for? I'd love to 'accomplish' something else while there too.
Grand Canyon is not too far away.
There are so many bad hotels there and yet they have some of the worlds finest hotels.
Try the best and treat yourself.
Venetian
Palasio
Wynn
Paris
Caesars
Treasure Island
Belegio

As far as prices for hotels, remember two people never pay the same price so shop around and don't go through an agent.

To gamble try the downtown hotels/casinos, the slot machines are loser there. Try the Californian. You can take the double decker buses their.

Remember you don't want to fly home and be calling yourself stupid for giving your money away in gambling.

It's like a WMCA. Old and in a seedy part of town. Stay away from it.

It did have its glory days about 60 years ago.

There are some great promo codes for the good vegas hotels if you Google around a bit. We managed to get about 40% off a room at the Bellagio a couple of years ago by doing so - not bad at all when we compared it to the best rate on their website without the code. Also have a butchers at the Vegas section on betterbidding.com to see what can be done with Priceline and Hotwire. This website helps you to narrow down the selection of hotels you might receive by knowing what parameters to enter when bidding.

Sorry, no all nude pools in Vegas.

When folks come to visit, if young, I put them at Aria. If older, the Flamingo, as the staff are calmer, good shows, and close to fat Elvis, who is down 200 pounds since five years ago.

All guests that I've had love the pinball museum, over on Trop, just a few miles toward UNLV, across from the former Liberace museum. All games a quarter, and everything from vintage to recent.

Mt Charleston has superb hikes, as does Red Rock canyon.

Snow is rare!!!! But it does get desert cold, for sure.

How much to take? Only as much as you are okay to lose. Join every players club you can, and remember the off strip, locals player clubs often give more, like Terribles near the Atomic Testing Museum, also a great afternoon, gives out t shirts and free buffets.

Research coupons before you go, as nothing should be paid at full price, except O, which is hard to get discounts. Talk to concierges and players club hosts to simply ASK for any leftover comps on shows about to start.

Fav afternoon show is Mac King at Flamingo, but it's American humor..just saying...

Best ale is at Ellis Island Brewery!!! It went up to $1.50 a pint, up from a buck, but also free if gambling. They also have excellent Memphis style ribs, and BBQ chicken. You get $$ off with players card too.
