Trip to Vegas!

I'm heading west in January to Vegas for a long weekend.

So the big question is: how much $$$ should I take to play with :p

But more importantly, what's the weather like just after New Year's Day? I'm thinking of what clothing to pack already!

I love America. Each state is like its own little country!

Only what you can afford to lose.

Another vote for Circus Circus being a dump. A couple of people we knew did one night and left. A few unsuspecting Brits have been dumped there on package deals from the UK. Watch your food budget the days when you could lots of good food cheap in Vegas are long gone. Watch for the minumum bet being raised on the tables as the night wears on and you get more tipsy. If you play the Martingale system you will not win a pile but should not loose much either plus free drinks while you are playing just don't get totally rat-arsed and start placing big bets.

Thanks y'all!

We're thinking of staying in Caesar's Palace.

We're going Friday to Monday and probably will venture outside as it'll be a darn shame to stay in the casinos for the entire visit. Could just go to AC for that!

I'm going to sound naive now, but what else is Nevada good for? I'd love to 'accomplish' something else while there too.
