We have been here 8 years and never known it so cool this time of year....we have late starts to summer we've had frost early June...but this is a new one...

No real secrets to report, I'm afraid. It's a 1400 sq. ft. split level fake adobe with decent insulation, no A/C, gas furnace driving dual zone radiant floor heating and assisting the hot water tank, gas stove and dryer, electric everything else. Yes, I have a freezer, and a fridge too. I have compact fluorescents on the outside, mostly halogens indoor. Double glazed. Nothing special.

LOL! Well, good for you! Sounds pretty nice to me, and incredibly efficient.

Yesterday we were sweltering in 97 degrees, today a high of 67 and now it's a chilly 55.

Well M, all I can say is, it better be cool for our next coffee, as humidity screws with my hair )))

But, have to mention, it was perfectly cool/chilly when I was at thee's homestead, and I LURV it cool, must be an age thing
