Yeah, Wrigley is a great place for a ballgame. Nice cool breeze coming thru, great neighborhood surrounding it for pre/post game entertainment.
As to the White Sox...now that they and the Red Sox have won a pennant, surely it's the Cobs turn this year, no?? I mean, before the 100 anniversary of the last pennant?

Tours of the FBI Building are no longer available for security reasons.

Ditto for the White House although I seem to remember reading that parties of school children can still tour.

I started to take to the White Sox over the Cubs because I could see their ballpark. My Chicago apartment was in a high rise that had panoramic views east and south of Chicago, a corner apartment 42 floors up. I started to notice fireworks going off above a stadium a few miles south and I guess I must have asked about the fireworks and I guess someone told me it was the White Sox stadium and they let fireworks off if one of their players scored a home run. So I tuned into a local station and started to watch them. It was kind of funny, there was a slight delay between me actually seeing the fireworks and the TV showing the same fireworks going off. My mum got hooked on the White Sox, she just loved seeing the fireworks go off.

But it's perfectly OK to take photos of the NSA building and eat a packed lunch on top of the grassy noll nearby.

I hear that abseiling is now allowed off the National Monument on the Mall. Be a good scout and bring your own kit.

......provided that the tour has been arranged by your Congressman/ Senator's Office.

Just started a trip out to DC, tonight, with 6 Coach Loads of Wisconsin Safety Patrol Kids on their way to see the sights.

I'm off to St. Louis in the morning, for the weekend, on a Tour with a High School Band.
