As to the White Sox...now that they and the Red Sox have won a pennant, surely it's the Cobs turn this year, no?? I mean, before the 100 anniversary of the last pennant?

Well if you like history and stuff, going to the seat of power in this country might be an idea. Yup, Good Ole DC. Lots of stuff to see there!! Take a tour of the FBI building, drive down to Virginia to see the CIA, (just drive by, don't sit and take photos OK- HINT). Lots of stuff to do in DC.

I hear that abseiling is now allowed off the National Monument on the Mall. Be a good scout and bring your own kit.

Just started a trip out to DC, tonight, with 6 Coach Loads of Wisconsin Safety Patrol Kids on their way to see the sights.
I'm off to St. Louis in the morning, for the weekend, on a Tour with a High School Band.
