Yes god forbid we have anything with live bacteria in it right? Hydrogenated oil and high fructose corn syrup is fine though
I have seen Actimel, but its called something different over here, still made by Dannon though. Its viewed as a weirdy hippy health food item so don't expect it in Walmart anytime soon.

A couple of years ago I contacted Dannon about where I could buy Actimel in my area of NJ. They suggested asking my local store to start stocking it, which I did. Several weeks later my local store started selling DanActive which is the US name for Actimel. It is $2.99 for 4 bottles.

Did you know that there were some studies done on these "healthy bacteria" drinks and they actually found little or no useful bacteria in them.

I'll try and dig up a link because I'm remembering this from a while ago.
