Oh how very Oregonian

I'm with your OH, but as I was not given permission to buy a Roush Mustang I got a Jeep (a big one) with a personalized plate.

I always thought they'd probably rather live in their truck or car if push came to shove, but it seems a lot of them proved me wrong.
Not quite sure how one goes about getting ones money back on something that does 12 to the gallon, when petrol has gone up to around $4.00 though, but better late than never. I wasn't unhappy to see less of them.
You didn't see any more of them than before the gas price hike around here. But, the people that buy them here don't have to worry about $$. That's why they buy them in the first place. (and trailers are not permitted here, you can't even park a car on any part of your lawn without someone from the zoning dept. visiting)

Nothing like becoming americanized without becoming materialistic, eh?
Let's face it you're only as big and powerful as the car you drive, right?.... or at least it would seem that way according some people's perception.
Who was it that said that a man's car is just a penis extension?

lolz! He got personalized plates too....
And he also does not have permission to buy a Mustang, of any vintage (minds could be bent for a '67 but I digress..) or anything that costs $35k. I let him break the bank on this one and only made him dicker the guy down $100.

Hi Tamms: could you please add on 40-50% to your low low low prices. Would make us feel a bit warm & fuzzy, about ours.
Thanks.

After my grocery shopping the other day I've got a 60c discount so I'll be filling up for $1.23 a gallon tomorrow.

I did have to spend $300 to get the discount though

So he traded a truck for a sports car.... Slow, useful and boring for fast, useless and fun.

What were you driving, and did you change after the divorce?

I was driving a Honda Civic. I kept it for another 3 years (till it had 180,000 on the clock) then moved on to a VW Jetta. I also have a van for toting my bazillion kids around in. My lovely hubby has a Saturn (god awful piece of junk but gets him from A to B relatively cheaply)

Very interesting that your Husband drives a Saturn. Is it green?

Nah Red. Why? He averages 500 miles a week. It came with satellite radio and a free pc. But it is horrid to drive I think. My Jetta has no frills but its like a little tank, solid as a rock.
