I saw The Damned at Guilfest this year, great entertainment ... they did a cover of "Help!" too which is well worth a listen.

Help was the B-side of their first single New Rose back in late '76 (or possibly very early '77)...they murdered it then (in the best possible way, or course) and I can't see it getting any better with age!!

Is Dave Vanian still wearing the makeup?? i saw him about ten years ago and he was still at it...he must be pushing fifty now!

Oh yes, plenty of slap on ... good laugh though, the Captain threatened to play Happy Talk if anyone criticised his weight ... well, those weren't his EXACT words
