my mum has the album
"Phil Collins hits"

I think they put the space in the wrong place of the title myself, but there you go.

I am not a big Gabriel fan myself. He is a bit too "out there" for my taste. I like Phil better as the singer of Genesis to, in fact I got into them before him. It was a kick ass concert and being a fan I kept checking his web site to see when/where he was touring.

Seems to be fashionable to hate Phil Collins these days.
Went to see him in California last month. Took the wife, who was a little aprehensive as she is more of a casual listener. She had a great time. He's getting a bit on in life, but f**k me he can still sing and move around the stage with the best of them. Highlight was In The Air Tonight, absolutley incredible! First time I've been to a concert in the States and I must say I was impressed by the American audience. Don't know much about Gabriels solo stuff other than the singles. Got all his Genesis era stuff though.

All depends if one is easily seduced by shitey UK tabloid journalism. If I were that way inclined I’d also hate Liverpool supporters and John Leslie.

Well I am sure glad that you had a great time!!! He does put on a great show, I have seen him several times on his own and with Genesis. I have never been dissapointed by his performances!!
I am not sure that its fashionable to hate him........I have not come accross this in the US at all. I have been fortunate enough to meet him back in the Uk as well as here in the US (last week in fact) and I know some will say that I am biased but he is a real nice guy! He has always been very polite etc to me and not in the slightest bit "snobby or unpleasant". I think that he is also quite a modest man he is travelling around the US in something like a surburban, no tour busses for him. A relative of mine was having diffilculty with the gas cap on her car and he without being asked helped her. She did not know it was Phil. I have the upmost admiration for him and I would go so far as to say he is probably the best singer, writer & performer ever to come out of the UK. I am not a McCartney fan, I find him arrogant.
He has a new 2 cd set that came out on Tuesday and its real nice and includes the True Colours as performed on the tour. The best price was at Myers. It also has my all time fav of his which is "Always" listen to the lyrics with your significant other.
:D
