There are others out there, though the pitstop one is a goodie, as long as your using IE as your browser.

Are you using Windows XP ?

Have you tried doing an Operating system reinstall ? This will happily sort out your registry but you will have to download your updates again.

Or get someone, or follow a guide to slipstream your copy of Win XP and then you'd be all set...

Right thing ..if you want to do it properly ... if its just for the rare occasion ..
the camcorder will do ..

If you putting on webcams show .. for your public or fans ..
use the income for that to pay for it ..

Decent webcam will have better image quality, less flicker and more bells and whistles, worth the investment if your using it for say Skype, or the odd side web business
Otherwise it ain't really worth it...oh, can also hook the webcams up as a home security system if your bored
