I should add, "accidents" happen when my four year old doesn't make it in time to the toilet.....not an innocent man being shot 8 times.

[QUOTE=AmerLisa]
What kind of criminal warrants being restrained and then 8 shots poured into him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A potential suicide bomber who in a split second can blow up a train load of people.
They also should disbar the rent a mob lawyers who rush to steal money form the British public in this matter. Since when do we pay criminals compensation ?
The guy was an illegal immigrant and had no right to be in the UK.

Mind you, I think the Underground should have refunded the unused portion of his railcard to the family though. Less a fee for the paperwork involved.

or lets lock everyone up for life, we are all potentially murderers.
I'd like a stack of DUI's also because everytime I get drunk I can potentially drive a car.

Hey they had to clean the claret off the train station you know. Maybe the poor Mrs Mopp who had that job should get compensation for the stress caused of knowing it was a murdered man's blood and brains she was dealing with ?

Somewhat different to what witnesses are now saying.
Arrive on scene to an accident surrounded by witnesses..ask 4 different people what just happened and get 4 very different answers. Believe me witnesses are very unreliable.

But this does not explain why, if police believed he was a suspected suicide bomber, he was allowed to walk from his home, board a bus and travel several miles before getting off, going into the tube station, and down the escalator on to a train, potentially putting dozens of passengers at risk.

I have the greatest respect and admiration for the British police and the work they do, but that does not mean I have to think they're infallible: in this case it looks like they ****ed up. Big time.

Until we get the answer from the investigation this is all really speculation and out of context. If it turns out to be true it is unlikely to be covered up now anyway - then we can say what a bloody disgrace this was.
