Kind of but we wouldn't be able to move as soon as she finishes.

Probably fairer to say thinking rather than planning.
Will be keeping an eye on East Coast weather over the winter.

Mrs H. would definitely like the East Coast.
Me, I'm also partial to the Oregon Coast.

Quite a few Californians seem to migrate up there.

Either way, we know we're moving from our current location and I would really like to get back to the UK while still in my 50's

The in-between bit will just be a wee adventure/change of scenery. No roots.

House Republicans have filed an expected lawsuit against President Barack Obama over his implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the New York Times reported on Friday. The suit accuses the administration of acting without congressional authority in delaying the employer mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act.

House Republicans File Obamacare Lawsuit

Duh, employers lobbied the white house for that delay and the delay was supported by republicans but since republicans didn't vote to approve the delay, they are now going to sue.

Does anyone else see the irony. The republicans could have sued to stop the delay before it occurred and possibly had the delay overturned by the courts which would have upset their main supporters but now that they delay is over, they are now going to sue.

Most of their opposition to the ACA has been ironic, so this shouldn't be any surprise.
