It would be a bad idea to move to the States if she wants to continue to work as a physio... her British qualifications wouldn't translate and she would have to go back to school for at least 4 years and pay about $100,000 in school fees to be able to work here. ( I looked into that line of work myself!

thankyou and more than happy to correspond with them. It can be a very frustrating process but I have been given a good $$ as they recognise my UK experience so double my wage once I move

Well they will love it here then. Actually I love it here now it is a beautiful state with a lot of different outside activities to do. And the rain keeps it beautiful (and you do at least get summers here with no rain as well)
