Funny how, in my memory of it, he glided gracefully across the sky and it was pure magic for me.

No! I know for sure he's real. I got a phone call from him one Christmas Eve a couple of years later. I wasn't doing what I was told or going to bed as I should have. He told me he couldn't do his deliveries until I was asleep. It did the trick, I raced upstairs to bed after that!

How about a "Santa isn't just for Christmas" bumper sticker?

I'm just glad the schools have got everything else sorted out and this is the biggest, most important thing they have to worry about

Well said. I hope they never realize that 'Holidays' actually is derived from 'Holy Days'. Imagine... if the really want to start a stink, Christmas (Christ's Mass), Easter, St Valentines, Columbus Day (Actually the Virgin of the Pilar day in Catholisism) and probably a few more will all go down the shitter in the new Totally Secular USA....but I doubt the PC whackos actually want to lose the days off that bad. Maybe we just ought to add Yom Kippur, Ramadan and a few other religon's holy days as nationa Holidays like we have the Christian days??
