Lost Green card

Re: Lost Green card
Approximately 60,884,784 but that figure is a few years old and there has been a bigger surge in recent years to get passports, especially now that you can't fly to Mexico or Canada (well fly back to the US) without one. So the answer is I don't have a correct number of "yanks" that have passports.

No...it's been relaxed until September 2007. The PP office couldn't cope with processing all the PP's. You now have to produce ID and proof that you've applied for a PP if you are entering the US from Canada or Mexico.

Believe me, it's something I have had to keep reminding my clients when booking their holidays this year!!

It's not as though folk hadn't had enough warning...when did they first decide to change the PP rules...2004?

Re: Lost Green card
This replacing your green card every ten years is annoying. When I got mine they said it was a PERMINENT visa, someone realized they could make us rent them!:curse:
