Thank goodness!!...thought I was missing something!...I never could stand Letterman either, before he had his heart surgery I thought he was just incredibly unfunny and very nasty as well,he seems to have mellowed since the surgery but is still very unfunny, don't watch it at all...and not keen on Leno either, although I do occasionally watch his monologue, headlines and the street walk interveiws,,then I go to bed!...only ever seen O'Brien once or twice but didn't like him either....Frazier was probably the best comedy I watched, liked Third rock from the sun as well, but missed most of them...couldn't stand Friends!...there's several 'stand-up' guys I think are funny...saw an HBO one last week or so....'Richard Jeni-a steaming pile of me' that was real funny...and Dennis Leary springs to mind as well...don't like Saturday Night Live now but the early ones were really funny...at least I thought so!....Sophia

I guess it all goes down to what humour you find funny. Letterman is hilarious to me and Letterman fans of course Dave rocks!!

I hated O'Brien for a few years, until one day I just 'got' it. He is one funny man.
Jon Stewart is the best though. Love his shows.
How about Ferguson? Y'all happy to see a Brit on 'prime' tv?

I love David Letterman. LOVE HIM. I find his kind of humor just hysterical, but perhaps it's an acquired taste.
I like Jay Leno, too, but his style is so different from Dave's I don't think it's a fair comparison.
I feel the same way. There are still times I find him annoying, but I can appreciate Conan a lot more now than I did when he started 10+ years ago.
I think he has his moments, but he looks like he's struggling a lot of the time. He doesn't seem to have the timing down just yet. But I like him A LOT more than I ever liked the Craig who came before him: Craig Kilbourne.
