Okay, so the move is imminent! As in two or three weeks' time!
Any advice as to stuff I may have forgotten to do/pack/arrange??
I think I'm pretty organized but there is always that one thing that creeps up and knocks you sideways!
Anyone have any experience of things they almost/did forget about? Please share!

(PS I know I've left it too late to open a Stateside bank account through HSBC and that I have to wait until I get over there to do this. I blame their Customer Service Telephone Line!!!! lol)

Have you opened a UK bank account, brokerage account, EGG and/or First Direct Savings Account, unit trust account, maximised this tax year's ISA?
Because once you have left you won't be able to do any of the above...

Make sure your medicines will last till you can see a doc. and the packaging meets current US customs requirements.

Take lots of pictures of what seems normal to you now. The street you live in, the local pub etc.
