Since I'm not male, I find it unlikely

Um well in which case you could be your wife and you might come claw my eyes out though I'd be yelling "you can keep him!" the whole time!

I get homesick too, always will, if OH said tonight we had got a posting to UK or Europe or Siberia I'd be straight out the door before you could say boo to a goose.
Everyone walks around here..even to the shops...a lot walk to work or pushbike...

My aunt went to Weston every Saturday afternoon for about 30 years...I don't think I've been there since leaving Bristol and moving to Hants..
I used to go on the Bikes bank holiday weekend when our David was an Angel...good days... sleeping on the beach...scarying old ladies...

I walk all the time and nip into the park for lovely walks too.

HOWEVER, I went to one football (why can they use their hands if it is football?) game in the 70's and NEVER to a baseball game, I refuse. I used to go to all the tennis though. Will go again this year.

Hello Leslie

Thanks for asking

I'm doing a bit better today. Just tried to ring Mum but she's probably in the garden so left a message, and rung a good friend, so had a natter

Thinking about going to the gym (no excuse, it's on my doorstep at the complex) but motivation is low! Need to push myself really as it does make me feel better, and I need the exercise (too many meals out of late!)

Really looking forward to moving now .. living in this apartment is fine, but 6 weeks of isolation is too much. It'll be nice to know when I talk to someone there is a fair chance I'll see them again - neighbours etc.

Nice of you to ask

He can be an insensitive soul sometimes, but I *think* in this instance, it was genuine!

But you might have a point

We lived in an apartment for 2 years when we first moved here. Although the apartment itself was very nice and had fab views across to Manhattan...I hated it...I hardly saw a soul. I felt much better once we bought our own house.
