There is still an old-fashioned suspicion of this style of working - often from those who conspicuously sit in their offices from 9 to 5 each day, but do sweet Fanny Adams other than play solitaire on their computers or talk university politics/BS over scones and coffee in the faculty lunch room 4 times a day.
