Certainly I can recommend them and I am going to be buying again, and trying out some of the other pies they do, one of which is Melton Mowbray pork pies.

You need to get the Yorkshire pies from them ONLY. Melton Mowbray pies suck. Even when you eat them in Melton Mowbray. Unseasoned grey pork filling. Yuk.

Sacralige! Melton Mowbray pies have gray meat because its fresh and uncured like other pies with pink meat.

I am quite happy to buy some of each, it isn't going to be a problem.

All you've got to do is get here from CT by Friday. It's the bacon race.

Nice find that place.....
I collected my delivery from Mr.Weezes today (thanks again!)
Cracking dinner of meat and potato pie, mash and mush, with onion gravy.
Going for a bike ride tomorrow then back for bacon egg and black pud for breakfast....turning into quite the weekend:thumbsup:

I took delivery of some on Friday and had an awesome bacon sarnie this morning!
Would've taken a picture but that would have meant pausing before eating it, which wasn't going to happen!

Update on the order....

Meat and potato pies - lots of meat, tender, not a lot of gravy, but easily fettled that with a bit of bisto. Verdict - pretty good - will order again.

Bacon - made a mistake with the first sarnie for my eldest - assumed you had to fry the crap out of it like American bacon, and it was pretty tough. Flash fried the rest, and it was gorgeous....the rest of the pound didn't make it past lunchtime...:o The next pound is calling longingly from the top drawer of the freezer....I don't think it will survive the week.....

Black Pud - OK, not bad, but its one of the sweet/spicey ones, which isn't my favorite, but it still didn't last long....will still probably order again, but will also still be looking forward to the one my butcher does back in the UK.
