Lansbury, next time you do an order I'll split the shipping with you, if you'd like. We are only a few miles apart (I'm in Tigard)...

Sure, seems like a plan.

That is really not bad.

Especially when you consider it had to go on an airplane to reach you and not just be carried in from the kitchen on a plate.

I too have a delivery due today!! The pork and leak sausages are just to die for. They were doing a special offer of a free pound of bangers in honour of Prince George!

The packaging cost is high, but the quality of the packaging with the numerous ice packs ensures the goods arrive fresh, and usually still frozen.

I ordered from these guys after seeing it mentioned on an old thread here on BE - never looked back! Enjoy :)

But you have to be in the top 3% with a PHd to get them. ;)

Now look what you've gone and done. I went to their website and actually started salivating at the pics...:o

Yeah... I'm sort of leaning toward this myself.

As they haven't been mentioned yet, I can vouch for the Cornish pasties!

Well in that case have a whole ton of sympathy for me...think what it is like to drop in locally and stand there looking at racks of the real thing mere inches away!!

Decisions, decisions as to whether to grab an extra pasty for the drive home...

Which reminds me, it's nearly time to start planning the Christmas order.

I have been considering ordering something from them for a while. Be good to hear what there stuff is like from you rather than reading the reviews on their website.

I'm leaning towards leaning on Mrs P to make some pork pies at home. I have found a couple of likely recipes, I just need to find a likely butcher who can supply some pigs feet that the recipes call for.

Chinese supermarket? Or I think our Fiesta(Mexican supermarket) does them but I don't know where they have branches.

We have a few "artisan butchers" around (if anything it seems to be a growing phenomena) and there's one close to where I park to catch the bus, so I'll try there, once I get Mrs P's buy-in. :)
