we are brits that have moved to Charlotte a month ago!! we live near Ballantyne, would love to meet some fellow Brits, we have two kids 5 and 12.

Hi and welcome to the "Queen City"

How are you finding things so far?

If you or the kids are missing any Brit food stuff's you can find a small sample at the Harris Teeter in the strip mall on the corner of Johnston Road and Ballantyne Commons Parkway (opposite Ballantyne Village). World Market have a wider stash of stuff on South Blvd (next to AMC 22 Carolina movies).

Are your kids settling into school ok?

hi

thanks for the tips, we are settling ok, we have lived abroad before so not quite a culture shock! we are job hunting right now, not an easy task. youngest loves school and oldest will finish term in the UK, may brits in the bally area at all?
