I hate baked beans, the look of them, the smell.. vile.

I was a Youth Hostel warden in England for twelve years, so have cooked up many a can of beans to serve with cooked breakfasts. If we were serving large numbers of people, we'd open one or more A10 cans. That's a whole hill o'beans. Not easy, I can tell you, when you are suffering from a hangover...

Just because they're sold cold doesn't mean they are meant to be eaten that way.....

This is very true. American beer, for instance, is sold cold but tastes better after being microwaved on high for a couple of minutes.

Ironic that Canadian born and breed hubby wanted beans on toast last night and walked up to the Irish deli for Heinz as he hates the US version of beans. Too much brown sugar he says.

Personally as a Yank, I've had both and perfer Campbell's pork and beans or Bush's original myself.

Have never seen anyone eat or prefer their beans cold other than 7 bean salad.

Well that's kids for you....

I'm not a baked beans fan, but there you go... My husband, when we first moved over here was a hardcore Heinz beans fan. However, when we did find them they were silly money and even he didn't think they were that good. Our daughter wouldn't eat them at all.

I love Heinz beans, and luckily can get them locally for a reasonable price - however I also like the Bush's pork and beans, but don't like the BBQ.

Safeway used to do their own brand pork and beans, but stopped doing them, they were an excellent substitution for Heinz!!

I used to buy the low-sugar Heinz beans back in England, however the ordinary ones are preferable to any of the US ones for me.

I'm definitelyma Heinz BB fan and also get mine from amazon....can't beat them. I love them as is, warmed and on toast but also love them with a bit of curry paste or powder added and on top of a jacket potato

Luuuuuuv Heinz beans. Sometimes push the boat out at the weekend and buy them in Big Y, they charge $1.99, but I've found Heinz beans in X-pects for 98 cents, not like the ones back home, somewhere in between ours and american ones and they're okay I suppose. Hate american beans, especially the ones with bits of what is supposed to be bacon in them - gross. Give me a cheesy beano any day with our Heinz - ohhhhhhh, now I'm craving!!!! Thanks guys
