Oh yes, definitely. You know that dry, crumbly and 'flinty' cheddar that is properly sharp.

Even simple 'Arkansas' is a challenge ... it 'should' (according to the 'rules' that we all know don't exist), be pronounced as 'Ar - kan - sas' (Kansas with an 'Ar' in front!). But it's pronounced 'Ar - kn - saw' .
I would never have guessed. I've always read that as Ar - kan- sas. I'll have to remind them of that if I'm questioned about Magdalen, in Oxford we pronounce it 'Maud - lin'

I only get it once a decade or so but some on here like Maclaren's Imperial cheese in the red tub. It used to be made by Kraft but the name was only 2 hairs high on the label, as if they wanted to hide the fact, maybe to make it look less domestic.

Another vote for the TJ Coastal Cheddar from us. Their Stilton wedges are fine too and they had potted Stilton in ceramic jars at Christmas.

Colman's mustard, Branston pickle, Lea and Perrins sauce, Lincolnshire sausages, Wiltshire ham, Somerset Cider, Cheddar cheese, Stilton cheese, Kelly's icecream, silly expensive crumbly fudge....
Colman's, Branston pickle, Lea &Perrins, Stilton Cheese and Cheddar are available here. Also many types of biscuits and jams and even candies now. Wegman's has tons of imported cheese. I just bought some Stilton today.
