I'm not stopping you enjoying them, just saying I don't agree.

Yep and they can be got rid off, and they only got there because people were stupid enough to elect them. Note the difference elect, not position by birth.

OMG Madness were so bad. Whoever picked some of tonight's performers should be sent to the tower. Elton's performance was disappointing but he's recently been in hospital with a respiratory infection. Thank goodness Macca stuck mostly to the Beatles songs. What a bad choice the final song was...Live and Let Die.

Overall I thought the standard of singing was very disappointing...with a few exceptions. I loved the projected images onto Buckingham Palace...and the firework display.

Exactly ! You really have to be here, the crowd is amazing and it's not all about the Royals, it's about being British and about community, not unlike BE

We were on the mall and had a fabulous time, and believe me I cant stand half the acts that were on, and most of the jokes were crap. But the feeling of unity was beautiful.

Here's a few crowd shots........

Wow Coastie - Great Photos - thank you so much for posting them! I agree - even if you have mixed feelings on the Royals it's all about being British and pulling together.
