When travelling eastbound on the transatlantic routes most flights are overnight.

I echo this comment. My daughter (11 at the time) flew as an unaccompanied minor from LHR to Denver last year and the BA crew were excellent. They kept her company, made sure she was OK, reassured her and then on their way out of arrivals took the time to have five minutes with my wife and I to reassure us that she was OK while we were waiting for ground staff to escort her through. The service was excellent at both ends.

I wish
As yet my wit and charm has comprehensively failed to get me upgraded and I have no intention of paying an extra $1000 for a comfy seat - $125 an hour :scared:

Cat (speaking to Rimmer, Lister and Kryten): It's an absolute fact that there is less baby poop to climb through on night time flights heading east across the Atlantic; I know, I read it in Ripley's Believe It Or Not." (Spoofed RED DWARF line).
