I flew Johannesburg, Heathrow, JFK, FL, a few years ago, by myself with my brood when they were 'babies' and the BA staff were absolutely bloody marvellous. Really going out of their way to help the parents - walking babies to sleep..etc...
I would take all 3 of them with me, sod the miseries.

I have flown transatlantic 5 or 6 times last year and loads internally and cant remember any distractions due to babies - one particularly smelly man - but no babies!!
