If you do move, try and move after winter because it's brutal moving into a cold place during winter, the pre-cold build up in autumn kind of acclimatises you nicely.

hee hee! Chicago apparently means "wild onion" in one of the Indian languages. I only have my former FIL's word on that though... OK, I just looked up the Wikipedia page on Chi-town and apparently he's right! No mention of swamps though. And isn't all that concrete just adorable?

You will freeze. Once you've thawed out, you'll learn that snow is a 4-letter word, and that it takes people the entire winter to even start remembering how to drive in the white stuff.

I will have to hibernate for the winter, presumably supermarkets deliver??? I could just stay inside under my duvet for the entire time and eat, but apparently american chocolate is awful? I have to say, having tasted a Hershey bar, it is disgusting.
