You could all move to that rain-sodden hell hole called Western Washington. Although it is supposed to reach a balmy 74/75 degrees today. Which I suppose is almost perfect

Its been a cool, wet summer here. No heat to be found anywhere. Stores have so much summer stuff left they are doing 30-50% of sales already to get rid of it.

Sorry guys, I'm sat here feeling rather smug. It's been lovely all week, mid 80s, bright blue sky with not a cloud to be seen, a nice breeze. I'm sat working with the doors wide open and its bliss

There was no getting away from it when we lived in the San Fernando Valley, A/C was crap, house had too much glass, and even the pool was in full sun most of the day so you still baked your head if you got in there.

We are pretty normal for summer today 95 but dry, I still don't like it.
AC set at 79 and we are hiding out.
We used to go hang at the Mall all day when it got too hot, now the mall is too far away so we stay home.

Errrr....no! Not where I am on the Gulf Coast, triple digits started back in May here and will stay probably up until the end of September.

Humidity is part of our lives probably 10 months of the year.

....no way, you come here in February! It's the best month of the year usually. Low or no humidity, warm enough to be in jeans and t-shirt and no mosquitoes!

I won't get it in if it is under 84, my kids don't care they were in there when it was low 70's

Hubby made a solar heater so it is not so expensive for us to heat.

As much as I think this heat sucks I would never trade it in for some of the prolonged evil shite some of you endure. We get maybe a week of this. Maybe. And six solid months of snow.

We don't have AC, but a few months ago we had a second porch built on the house, on the north side, and it is usually pleasantly cool there with a breeze, until the sun comes around in the late afternoon. We are fortunate here to have rivers flowing straight from the mountains so the water is always refreshingly cold.. we usually drive over to the town beach late afternoon to lower the core body temp after a day of cycling or yard work!! I'm taking July off work, and I do envy my colleagues at work with the AC!!

It pissed it down like a monster this morning...cooled things off nicely...for a few minutes.

You can feel the steam building up and get sweaty....expected to be in the mid to high 90's...

Same happened here yesterday. It was pouring down when we went into the grocery....by the time we left the parking lot was dry but the air was wet.

Seeing as I'm 8 months pregnant I've stayed indoors for much of this week, only venturing out to go to the doc's. Its kinda sucked because I've really wanted to go for a walk, but I know I'd only be able to waddle along for a few mins before I felt like I was going to keel over.
Enormo glass of iced tea and AC cranked up high 24/7.
