From now on, you should make a complete photocopy set for your own records, of ANYthing you send to ANYone regarding immigration.

We have received his Authorization for employment card, which also states that it can be used for Advanced parole....wooooohooooooo

Based upon the facts given by OP, use of the Advance Parole will have no ill effects. Theirs is one of those rare cases where use of AP might be advantageous.
