I have no idea what the rate is! But if you look at the spreadsheet compiled on here most people get them. Some have mentioned that when the offence was not that long ago they were denied, but successful at a later stage

They can't expedite AP, but I would assume your case is quicker as your husband has only lived in the US since his last waiver, so background checks are done 'in house' as it were, rather than from other countries. So that will have sped things up considerably.

Congrats!

No news for me at least... THE Email did not arrive :-) as per discussion earlier in the thread it seems mine should count from at least the 25th of March as this is when th embassy confirmed they had requested the waiver already to me by mail. Maybe January latest Feb... Don't forget the office probably closed for thanksgiving etc too.

I got a 1 year visa in 2022 and it was dated from the day they put the visa in my passport. Luckily it was a 6 week turn around from the embassy appointment as they'd only recently reopened after covid.

My partner is waiting for his waiver too. Had interview in April in London so hoping we will have it by Jan. This is such a helpful group to see how others are getting on.

Hello, and welcome to the group of 'waiting for waivers' lol. It seems that if you access the spreadsheet it allows you to have an educated guess on when the waiver should approximately arrive. There is no science to it though!

Hey all,
I've been a lurker for many months but just registered now.

I went for my appointment in Sydney, Australia the first week of April 2024 and was recommended for a waiver.

This morning I got the email to say it was approved. I will update the spreadsheet soon

Good luck everyone.
